How do I add my own translation to a word?

Sometimes the built-in translation is correct but not the wording a learner wants to remember. A personal translation can be added for later search and review.

Where to start

• Open the word menu.
• Choose Note and Tags.
• Enter the custom translation using the colon format supported by the app.
• Add language information when needed.
• Save the entry and search by that language later.

Good to know

Custom translations are especially useful for course-specific vocabulary, professional terminology, or wording preferred by a teacher.
