How do I find the article of a German noun?

German noun gender is a frequent problem because the article is part of the word knowledge. Learners need a fast way to check the article and a way to practice it later.

Solution in the app

1. Search the noun in Browse.
2. Open the matching word entry.
3. Check the article shown with the word.
4. When you want active practice, switch to Games and choose Select Article.

Good to know

If article practice should focus on a smaller set of nouns, add those nouns to a collection first and then filter Games by that collection.
