How do I show more text instead of shortened lines?

Word lists are usually compact, so long translations, denotations, or examples may be shortened. Some learners prefer to read more directly in the list.

Suggested workflow

  1. Open Word Layout from a word menu or settings.
  2. Review the preview at the top.
  3. Adjust the options that control displayed information and long text behavior.
  4. Apply the changes.

Good to know

A compact list is faster for browsing. Expanded text is better when you want to study from the list without opening every detail page.
