How do I use split screen on a tablet or in landscape mode?
On a wide screen, switching back and forth between the word list and details can waste space. Split screen makes review faster.
Suggested workflow
- Open Settings from the main menu.
- Go to Display & layout.
- Enable Split screen.
- Use the app in landscape mode or on a wide tablet layout.
- Search in Browse and select a word to show details beside the list.
Good to know
When split screen is active, the first result of a search can open automatically in the detail area on wide layouts. A fullscreen control can be used for a larger detail view.
