How do I add my own web lookup resource?

Advanced users may prefer a specific dictionary, corpus, or learning website. Instead of opening it manually, the app can store custom web resources.

Where to start

• Open Settings from the main menu.
• Go to Web resources.
• Enter a display name for the custom resource.
• Enter the URL pattern and include the placeholder for the selected text.
• Return to a lookup menu and open Lookup web to use the resource.

Good to know

The custom resource appears together with the predefined web resources. It is most useful for sites whose search URL can be built from the selected word or phrase.
